On the mini controversy that erupted when pictures of Tyler smoking a hand-rolled cigarette (not a joint) got online last June.
“Oh yeah, I got smoking, what can you do, man? Smoking a cigarette. I mean, I don’t smoke very often, it just so happens that the first time I get paparazzi, I got caught smoking … What, people think differently of me now? I don’t care. Half the world smokes, and I did every now and then… I don’t know, it sucks that it happened but… whatever.”
FLASHBACK FRIDAY: Tyler on his first on-screen kiss in 2009’s Lincoln Heights.
Tyler: I play this girl… Rhyon Brown’s boyfriend on the show. It was my first on-screen kiss, and uh, it was fun!
Interviewer: Did you have the discussion, where you’re like, ‘I’ve never done this before..’ That’s weird.
Tyler: No, no I was just pretty excited about it [pauses] It was fun. I liked it!
Interviewer: You’re smiling, it was a good memory.
Tyler: Yeah…
We talked a little bit about the makeup, and he said that it burned his face a little bit, and I was like yeah. So we kinda bonded a little bit … but then he got onstage, and I yelled out ‘Teen Wolf 2,’ and he gave me a dirty look, so I don’t think he likes me anymore.
Tyler and I really love music and one of my favorite bands is Incubus and hint, hint, that’s one of his favorite bands too and we always bonded over that. He was going to try teach me how to learn the guitar so we enjoy doing that together. But he’s really, really sweet and we got really close on the set of Teen Wolf because well, we were always working together. He’s one of the friends that I know that I can tell him everything about me and he will never tell anyone. He’s really loyal and we’re really close. (x)
